The filling station canopy is an important part of the filling station. The design of the filling station canopy should not only have the functions of being firm, power-saving, and waterproof, but also be beautiful and generous. The lightweight and unique shape of the membrane structure plays an important role in the construction of parking lots and waiting halls. In addition to meeting the basic functions of wind and rain protection and sun protection, it also has a good sign solicitation effect, showing people’s personalized side.

For high-risk and highly flammable and explosive places such as filling stations, the material of the canopy is very important. Filling stations made of flammable materials will aggravate the consequences of accidents, while canopies made of membrane materials are non-flammable.  It greatly reduces the risk of membrane materials falling off in fires. Its effects and functions have long conquered the fire prevention authorities and are being used by more and more road builders.

So how to determine the most reasonable height? There is a unified Filling station construction standard to follow, generally according to the canopy area height of 5 to 7 meters. The details are as follows:
The height of the lower surface of the canopy from the ground is determined according to the following conditions:
The canopy area>1000m2, the height is 7.0m;
800m2<canopy area≤1000m2, the height is 6.5m;
600m2<canopy area≤800m2, the height is 6.0m;
400m2<canopy area≤600m2, the height is 5.5m;
Canopy area≤400m2, the height is 5m.

The height of canopy pillars made of different materials is different due to different arrangements. Vinuo membrane structure will give you a specific analysis:
The arrangement of canopy pillars can be divided into single-row pillars and multi-row pillars according to the row; it can be divided into single pillars and double pillars according to the column;
1. Steel canopy: The canopy is a single-row pillar, the column spacing should not be greater than 12m, and the should not be greater than 5m. When the number of refueling islands is 2 or 3, a single pillar support should be selected; when the number of refueling islands is 1 or more than 4, double pillar support should be selected; when the canopy is a multi-row pillar, the column spacing should not be greater than 15m, the cantilever distance should not be greater than 5m, and a single pillar support should be selected.
2. Space frame canopy: The canopy is a single-row pillar, the column spacing should not be greater than 15m, and the cantilever distance should not be greater than 5m. When the number of refueling islands is 2 or 3, a single pillar support should be selected; when the number of refueling islands is 1 or more than 4, double pillar support should be selected; when the canopy is a multi-row pillar, the column spacing should not be greater than 20m, the cantilever distance should not be greater than 6m, and a single pillar support should be selected.
3. Concrete canopy: When the column distance is greater than 12m, the cantilever distance should not be greater than 4m. Prestressed reinforced concrete structure or other special concrete structure can be used. For single-row pillar canopy, double pillar support should be used, and for multi-row pillar canopy, single pillar support should be used.
